Yes the coaching staff and defense leaves us frustrated at times, but this team, unbelievably, is becoming easy to root for. What’s your fav part of this unit? Mine is the offensive backfield trio of Ollison, Hall, Aston (with O-line support of course). Pitt is limited in their passing game (to put it mildly), and other teams have to know the run is coming, yet the past 4 games Pitt is winning with power football. While power football can be boring to some, I love it. It’s football in its rawest form; we’re tougher/stronger and you can’t stop us! An attitude! Finally! Go Pitt, and bulldoze all the way to Charlotte!

I love Aston.

I admire that the tailbacks are unselfish and support each other, and they are capable.

A bit in awe that the kicker can regularly make all these long bombs (yet so shaky on regular kicks).

Not trying to be a trool, but it's honestly difficult to get too excited about much else. Im astonished when they win.

Pitt doesn’t wear all white uniforms..

Last night was the best road contrast to UVA all blue. Helped our young QB pick out his teammates in a crowd.
How are white pants and white jerseys not an all white uniform?
Pretty certain the white jerseys with gold pants would have been easy enough for Pickett to find.

Pickett’s uni wasn’t white for more than 5 min last night.

Are you allowed to do that????
If so , a winner can be declared
I don't know. I hope I didn't violate Board Rule 275, Section 47, Paragraph 37, Subparagraph 22, but I think the Pitt cheerleaders do an excellent job, are considered part of the team in a general sense (like the band), and deserve mention. :) (Note: I don't know what year this photo was taken, but I could not find a picture that specifically said it was the 2018 squad.)

At this point I don’t really care!!!!

George F***ing Aston (yes, that's his middle name - fight me).

And it isn't even close.

How the team has shown resiliency. New folks stepping up every week. The combo of Ollison and Hall and the type of guys they are.

H2P!!!

I also love Aston, Ollison etc, but the best thing about this team is that it never quits and that it's learned how to finish and win games. Their last three wins were second half comebacks. They're flipping the idea of what Pitting means.

I love Pitt's tenacity and grit. I had written this season off yet this team found ways to beat Ga Tech, Cuse, UVA, and Duke.
I love Pitt's physical play. Pitt is not a dirty team but teams will know they played Pitt the next day. UVA lost several defense players in that game and by the 4th quarter they wanted no more of Pitt's rushing attack.
I respect Pitt's game day coaching and doing everything they can to win. From changing Carter's number to playing a spy to adjusting the formations (Pitt ran heavily from a passing formation (3 wideouts , 1 FB, 1 TB in the 2nd half against UVA), Pitt's coaches are consistently trying new things to win.

I still think think this team and program have major flaws. But they are doing more then what I thought they could.

There's a lot I like about this team.

Leadership from quite a few guys - lot's of guys show grit and bring the best out of their teammates.

The players seem to genuinely like each other. There's no quit, and they're happy to celebrate other's success.

I like the fact that Coach Narduzzi wants to be at Pitt - for the long haul. There's nothing I've heard or seen from him that makes me think he's looking at Pitt as a stepping stone job.

I like that the best players are playing, regardless of class or length of time in the program. Whoever does his job the best gets the playing time.

I love the fact that Pitt has a confident and competent kicker. That alone opens the playbook in a lot of situations.

Russ Grimm said in his Pro Football HOF speech an o lineman’s job is to move another man from point A to point B against his will. Mission accomplished last night.
My favorite part of this team is their perseverance. Their unwillingness to quit when it would be easy to. Good on them. Keep the train moving

My favorite part? It's kept the group of loud, mouth-breathing trolls at bay for the past few weeks.

I also love watching our two-headed RB unit behind this line and Aston.
