I mean, there is some good ideas for coaches in the Pitt family, such as Knight, coming back after he got snubbed last hiring session.

However, what about Wes Miller? New up and coming coach. Just led UNC-G to their first ncaa bid in a ton of years. Played for UNC and has obviously ties to Roy Williams coaching philosophy.

He would probably take the job, and it could be win-win in getting an up and coming coach who was under a HOF Coach and knows about playing fast paced basketball. Someone you could possibly build a program around.

Thoughts?

You are kidding right?

I’d love to know how Knight got snubbed exactly.

Also, Stallings is a Williams protege too ya know.

Miller is a defensive coach that would be loved here in Pittsburgh. Have an open mind, just because he played for Roy makes him a bad coach??? And he coached with Stallings when??? Love Pitt Bball fans!

Um, Knight left the program completely after he got hired over for Stallings who was clearly only hired because he was friends with people in the process. That's why he left to go be assistant at Rutgers.

Brandin Knight did not deserve in any way, shape, or form to be considered for that position.

Considering who was hired, I disagree. No offense.

At the time he was a guy who was basically considered a failure as Dixon’s #1 assistant, never having shown any recruiting aptitude at all. Now that he’s moved on to Rutgers he is not even their #1 assistant there. Absolutely no way you could seriously consider him.

The guy Pitt did hire had a long track record of mediocrity in a major conference. Lame as that sounds at least he was a realistic candidate.

That being said I would probably take Knight over Penny Hardaway, but that’s about it.
