Agreed. I think if the programs goes with no bowl for 2022-2024, it might happen. Personally if money wasn’t an issue, I would give him next to turn it around otherwise I would look for a change.
So just have a few players walk in with hoodies, backward hats, and dreads. Shouldn't take too long after that.

We've been Purdue for 90 seasons with the exception of a handful of seasons nearly a half-century ago.
I wouldn't go that far. In the last 20 years, they've won 105 games (5.25/year) and we've won 141 (7.05/year).

Fair but what's the real difference between going 5-7 every year and going 7-5 in the grand scheme of things, especially when they aren't allowed to play 1aa teams that we pad our win totals with.

The 2023 record does not matter. Good teams are coming to Achrishire, which I read on the Lair is what the fans want most. Sellouts will be refreshing to see at least.
Big Ten has weird rules about FCS games. If you are scheduled for 5 conference home games, you can't schedule an FCS team. I think if a series you previously had scheduled gets canceled, you can replace it with FCS though. If you are scheduled for 4 conference home games, you can host an FCS team.
Did I ever believe that? Yes, I did. psu does recruit some better players then Pitt, but their head coach is a pompous douche bag. I am quite happy with Narduzzi being in charge of the program. That being said, the OC's he has hired do not thrill me at all. The current one, does nothing to make the program better. Why would a recruit want to come here to play under cignetti's play calling??? Top football recruits want to play in a system that is quick and exciting. The current Pitt offense is slow and boring. The only player on the Pitt offense this year that can be excited is Izzy Abanikanda. No one else can be happy with this high school level offense.

This overly-aggressive cuck mentality schtick has ran its course, don't you think? You used to get as irate as anyone bitching about Pitt athletics, but all you've done is redirect that aggression and toward the fans and try to package it as levelheadedness, presumably in an effort to feel superior or something.
Donations and attendance didn't cause Narduzzi to hire a bad offensive coordinator. And, of course, what would that post be without the very same hyperbole you strive to act above? No one said they're dissatisfied with 7-5 being "the bottom." Little bit of a difference between going 7-5 in a rebuilding year and doing it in a year where you're senior laden and come with expectations - many of which Pitt itself boastfully created over the offseason. Oh, and when you're losing to teams that wouldn't go .500 in the Sun Belt.
Cignetti’s offense is not attractive to play in. We lose everyone after this year. The schedule next year is brutal.

It's a lot of all of those. The number of troll accounts that only become active when Pitt has some struggles is pretty impressive. Not a peep out of any of them last year. Pitt has some disappointing losses after making a ton of mistakes and bad injuries and it's time to blow up the program and hire some nobody and watch Pitt struggle some more. If you think the Wanny remorse is bad, just wait.
Not sure where to even start with your response. First, if you think we were on our way to being at the level of Ohio State, one of the really premier programs along with Bama, Georgia, Clemson etc, me thinks your expectations were way too lofty. Second, PSU has more than "some" better players than we do. They had 3, 5 star recruits in the 22 class alone. That's 3 more than we have on our entire roster. Third, Jimmy Franks is a pompous douche bag but Nardo's rep nationally is just as douche baggery. Particularly after he saw fit to trash his former coaches etc. And just to be clear, I don't think Nardo is going to be fired anytime soon nor do I think he should be. He is what he is which is a middling ACC coach who might have a great season every now and then when he catches lightning in a bottle as he did last year with a 5th year heisman finalist at QB and a Biletnikoff winner at receiver. Which, by the way, Pitt has never had 2 more decorated players on one side of the ball, ever. Not even back when we had the great teams of the late 70s early 80s. Lastly, the problems on this team go way beyond just the OC.
The Almighty himself couldn’t land a Top 15 recruiting class to Pitt. We won 11 games last year, beat WVU, and still only had 45k Pitt fans show up against TN. This fanbase is cheap and fickle. You can’t even bring big-time recruits to most home games because the atmosphere is usually pathetic.

True. But the Mid-Atlantic area doesn’t have a ton of teams with big time atmospheres. So that somewhat cancels itself out in terms of what should be the prime recruiting area.

Either way, who said anything about it having to be top 15? I don't think Narduzzi has ever even finished in the top 30 (using composite), for Pete's sake. I think you're way off base if you don't think it's possible to recruit better to Pitt.
