Might have been a night of frustration exacerbated by Carmody trying to squeeze in that final layup. He was close, too. Almost had something to brag about next year to his Community College of Butler County teammates.
I'm just going to say it, I dont care. I was happy his career was ruined by injuries. Any local kid that goes elsewhere, I root for them to have career-ending but not life threatening injuries.

I think it’s obvious the Pitt Players are to blame for this loss. They played a bad game on both sides of the ball.
Going forward, defense is the biggest concern for me. Giving up 80+ to both Cuse and ND, 78 to VTech before that. Not good.

Like I said in the game thread, we have to go back more than 10 year to find the last time that Notre Dame was called for more fouls in a game than they were tonight. That's a team that averages almost the lowest number of fouls called against per game in the NCAA, and they got called for 25 of them tonight, and 17 in the second half.
They don't normally get called for even close to 17 fouls in a game, let alone in a half.
I wasn't even sure if there was such thing as a Community College in Butler County. But you get the point.
They had 2 guys foul out and 3 guys with 4. JF the game was 43 mins, we win because of their foul trouble
I was happy he didn’t get the 1-2 pts he was obviously desperate to get at the end, missing both FTs and then the last layup just after the buzzer.
They should’ve have just kept fouling him to send him to the line at the end of the game. He looked awful on those 2 misses.
