now own Kraft /Heinz along with 23 other things so I have kind of wondered if the name of the field could change to represent more of their brands and possibly be a more robust advertisement for the corporation. I have to imagine Geico would be a better use of money spent if it were renamed.

My point is, the price for naming has to have tripled since the stadium opened and possibly there is a chance for further stadium improvements.

I happen to like the new scoreboard and I believe the new seats under the jumbo Tron make the place a little bit louder. I personally would love to put a canopy over the field to weatherproof it more and add even more to the noise.

Additions from naming rights.

Field Turf
Hanging scoreboard at mid-field
New Seats (not yellow) with USB ports and better wi-fi
Beer Gardens at every level

We are competing with the living room so make it better than a living room.

New Seats (not yellow) with USB ports and better Wi-Fi ..... or better yet big signs that read "No cell phones or other no electronic devices permitted. You are here to watch the DAMN game!"

Has an open stadium ever had a mid field scoreboard? I honestly don't know.. Sounds like a safety issue to be honest. you have to have it high enough to not effect the game (punts). Do you really need another scoreboard?

You must be really old. I check the stats, other scores and take pictures to post for friends. Embrace social media as it is free advertising.

I am kind of partial to naming it The Mac & Cheese Bowl

Coming in 2016. The Kraft Heinz Mac & Cheese Bowl! Featuring Conference USA #4 vs AAC #3! Co-Sponsored by Frank's Red Hot, who will temporarily modify the ketchup bottles for the Frank's Red Hot Zone.

Are they going to play it AT Heinz Field? I mean if you can play December bowl games in New York City, and even Boise freaking Idaho for goodness sakes, why not?

That's the point. With only about 20,000 fans in attendance, the stadium will look like Mac & Cheese!

ie, ignore your actual surroundings, have your face in a phone and post photos and videos of what a great time you are having peering at the game through your IPhone so that apparently, people who don't give two shitts will watch it....yes I am very old...have vivid memories of Dorsett running and Hugh Green terrorizing through my very own eyes.....embrace social media, hahaha! we used to call it having a beer with fiends and people I actually know and like after the game

I am more on your side than you realize. My iPhone takes up about 3 minutes per game and I hear what you are saying. I also realize that if I had an iPhone in 1988 at Pitt Stadium I would be taking a selfie of the beer we had at Stadium or the ziplock bags of Vodka we poured in our cokes. All that with being with my best friends to this day.

Older Folks likely made fun of you for wasting time listening to 8 tracks when you should be out playing.

I am not knocking you but pointing some things out. The student section today is far better than anything I have witnessed dating back to the 70s.

Vodka? Who the hell, besides the Ruskies (that is what we old farts called them back in the day), drank vodka in the 70/80s unless it was in a screwdriver? Unless you were a godless commie, rum went in that Coke back then. Well, comrade, how did it taste? Just kidding. I am not a just an old man (50)...I am a grumpy old man. Love the technology (IT guy), hate the personal disconnect the digital connect has created. Kids can play Call of Duty for hours on end with kids from around the world but have no idea and have never heard of "eeinie meenie minee mo" (forget about "Ish Kabbibble, bottle of ink, cork fell out and you stink" or "my mother and your mother were out hanging clothes, my mother punched your mother right in the nose, what color was the blood? " ) to choose who is "it" (" 'it', what is 'it' dad, do I have to download it? ") ....... see this is the what the face of early onset looks like...
