was just looking at Izzo's record at MSU, 72% win percentage, several Final Fours/Sweet 16's, yet no titles since 2001.

I wonder what their fans are saying, I know after this latest failure they may be getting a little restless.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say their fans probably aren't saying much. They may have a few lunatics like any fan base but I think the great majority aren't restless.

9 Final 4's since 1998. They are smiling.

If Dixon went to that many ffs and won only one title, the same people complaining on here now, including you, would say it was time for a change.

Some people just like to complain, no matter what they do.

Biggest thread over on the MSU site right now is 'Biggest Recruiting Failures of the Izzo Era". There are other threads saying that MSU should implement a zone defense.

You need an account to actually open the threads though

MSU will win another title before Jamie Dixon gets to a final four, hell before he gets to another elite 8..

Like a butchers dog...

Those things are hard to win

Some have come in pairs perhaps not back to back ...
Dean Smith just got 2 and he likely assembled more talent than anybody.
(Just not Kareem and Bill)

The final fours count a lot and buys goodwill and big contracts.

Of course there's disappointment. For crissakes they lost to a 15 seed. But I can't imagine there's too many restless fans in the long view. And those who are would be nuts.
There aren't any. I'm a lifelong MSU fan myself--secondary to Pitt-- and you won't find a MSU fan anywhere that doesn't love Izzo, or who thinks there's a better man out there for the job.

He had his one-off Friday, there is a ton of disappointment but everyone, even the crazies, knows it was a fluke. I haven't been to the Spartan board and I don't spend any time there but i live here among the fans, and they all get it.

Now if MSU just had the same last four years Pitt had, despite all of his past success, wrongly or rightly, there would be a whole bunch of people calling for Izzo's head.
