Rank them by how important they are the program's future.

1. Carr - not a true PG, hopefully he can slide to the 2 eventually but he has the highest ceiling

2. Stewart - pure shooter, every team needs one

3. Brown - this is the one that will surprise some people. He made strides throughout the year. You cant teach 6'10 and these guys take time. With a couple more years to develop, I can envision him being a decent ACC 5.

4. Stevenson - has ability but tweeners are a dime a dozen. He is replacable.

5. Davis - best defender, limited offensively but shows flashes

6. Peace - terrible but maybe he develops

7. George - give Andy Toole a call

The top 3 have shown flashes that they belong, would prefer they stayed.

Stevenson should call Narduzzi about a linebacker position.

The rest, best of luck.

From the Cheap Seats; $300,000 in small bills should get us 3 or 4 ACC caliber players that make Pitt at least competitive next year.

Just kidding of course.

I actually agree with you. The first 3 are the guys I would want the most to stay.

Stewart definitely. Brown has shown some flashes. Carr....I don't know. He hasn't really shown much during ACC play, and that's what counts.

Truthfully, all of them are bench players and reserves on any good ACC team, not starters. We need some new talent that is capable of starting in the ACC. Stallings motivated the only ACC level player we had to transfer because he didn't want to play for him.

All of that being said, a decent coach could have put the pieces together and developed these players better than Stallings has. His coaching has been abysmal from game #1 this year and going back to last year as well. He hasn't done his job even remotely to the level of mediocrity.

It all depends who you replace them with . Everyone just assumes that the next coach is going to come in here and better talent will just start flowing in . We’ll just have to wait and see ....and hope !

Sadly, none are irreplaceable....but I'm guessing it's too late in the cycle for them to get any decent offers (only a couple to big schools) and the new guy may not have any prospects w/o LOIs. We're pretty much where we were a year ago...Ryan back, not much else. And Milligan has been better than expected...the only kid with speed & energy.
I don't wish any of these kids any bad luck.....not their fault.

I like Milligan, too. He has some qualities, as you mentioned, that can make things happen, especially against the better competition. I know some people don't like him, but he's definitely better than any other options we have right now. And he wasn't a Stallings recruit.

You're also right that none of us wish any of these kids anything but very good luck going forward. This isn't on them, this is on their coach. And the former AD.
