Said when he declared whitehead could probably have been a 2nd if he came back, had a real good season and stayed out of trouble. To be honest I thought he would fall until the 5th or 6th with his off the field issues.

A ton of talent and could be a great nfler if he gets it together
Quadree Henderson is going to be sitting in front of the tv forever waiting to be drafted. I have nothing personal against him, just baffled why he declared for draft. He may have a future in CFL with the wide, long field
Just a weird decision for him to come out. He doesn’t have the measurable only the intangibles.
Can’t blame him. He’s a return specialist / gadget guy only in the NFL. Even if he only gets added as an UFA for a few seasons, it’s still some nice checks. I really don’t think there are many seasons left where the return game in the NFL even exists before it’s removed entirely. Maybe that was a consideration?
I don’t expect he had any illusions of being drafted to be honest, think he was just ready to try and start his pro career as a FA right now.
Especially with the deemphasizing of kickoff returns teams aren’t going to be wasting draft picks on pure returners anymore. Even a guy who will be primarily a returner in the NFL like Ray-Ray Mccloud was fortunate to be drafted in the 6th round and he caught almost 50 passes in each of the last 2 seasons.
If so he was given incredibly bad information. Teams aren’t going to be drafting returners anymore and he can’t contribute in the receiving game at all.
