Who’s going to scrimmage tomorrow?

I’m looking forward to going and I hope to share thoughts with the Lair faithful!
There was a time when I scheduled everything around Pitt Hoops events. Not so much now.
I cannot make it, but looking forward to the info you guys provide afterwards.
I would appreciate feedback on height of newcomers and the other bigs. The best you can provide DT. Thanks
I will be by myself (wife throwing me out of the house on short notice).
Around where will you be.? A section number or something?
I honestly don’t know yet. Depends on the set up. Maybe I’ll post it when I get there.
What can I say. Been retired since 2012, had work assigned devices.
Live small: Wife, Family and a handful of couples as friends
Was there. Gueye looked great, by far best on court. Horton looked really good. Collier looked pretty good and seemed as tall as Hugley or taller. Femi looked good. Jeffress looked good.. Disappointed in Hugley. He got blocked, missed shots. Difficult to tell who was who with so many new faces and no names on shirts.
My thoughts on the scrimmage:
Femi was Femi
Horton was Horton
Nike was Nike - wish he was a better protector of the ball, particularly when directly in front ofhim
I thought the walk on point guard looked great. Appears stronger too.
Santos looks like he knows whatheisdoing, shots were just not falling today.
Jeffress has not improved one iota
Collier looks slightly better
Max looked OK - not lost like at times last season
Hugley looks like he wants to score - might dial back shooting threes - Appears t
o be in less than peak shape.
Guyere the best of the newcomers - fast, athletic and can shoot - Played with Hugley, that might work
Oladapo looked as I anticipated - he will help - needs told to forget shooting threes - Looked like he turned an ankle near the end. Hope he is OK.
I was surprised Payton played as little as he did - He had a three, a dunk and a goaltend - He was not looking for his shot.
I think the walk on is good enough to tide us over until Burton returns

Guyere range was far better than advertised. Looks good .
Big John looked fine to me . The two of them together will give Pitt a much better inside presence.
Nike played well as did Ezeakudo .
Scrimmage was too short to really get a feel of things or all the newcomers , they’re athletic and should be better . Biggest disappointment was Will Jeffress , but I wouldn’t jump to conclusions after watching this .
Thoughts on the Pitt scrimmage from an amateur observer:
Gueye - Wow. This guy jumped off the page. Most athletic player on the team. Good leaper, and fast, but real thin. Blocked a couple shots; made a couple threes (after misfiring in warmups)
Big, big upgrade over recent forwards. (Though when I first saw him I thought maybe Snoop Dogg was playing today. 😊)
Hugley — looked good; aggressive, made medium jumper, nice drive….
Collier - most athletic after Gueye. But can he develop an offensive game?
Sibande - looked good as an attack guard; made a few impressive shots;
Horton - looked decent; shot lights-out in warmups but cooled off in the game.
Jeffress- heard he had several assists, which surprised me. He seemed to have little impact to me.
Ezeakudo looks a bit better than a walk-on. Can shoot it some.
Amadasun — probably needs another year. If I remember correctly made a nice baby hook near end of scrimmage.
Santos - looks like will be a good 3-ball shooter as he matures; I was impressed that he drove aggressively a couple times; with some time could have a nice offensive game…
Oladapo - seemed to have a rough day; looks more like a Coach…
Femi- looked okay; wasn’t looking to shoot …
Overall, I thought the team played aggressively. The shooting didn’t impress. Gueye did impress. The biggest positives to me were Gueye and Hugley.

The "tallest" question--heard it claimed last season that Amadasun is only 6-8 and not 6-10. Which height does he appear closest to actually being?
