The one we did have backed out and went to a conference rival. Depending solely on transfers to shore up a depleted roster is risky and more likely to produce the same results.

Expecting to catch lightning in a bottle that way is wishful thinking. I would love to see them pull in some ballers and prop themselves out of the bottom of the conference. I'm just not seeing it though. Changes need made in more than just the player roster.

Regardless of whether he is only here for another day or another decade, I think we're all well within our rights to 1) Complain when our name is linked to a guy who averaged 2 points per contest at Jacksonville and 2) Laugh when a guy's options are Kansas, Duke, UNC, Kentucky, UCLA... and Pitt.

You seem to want POSITIVITY. Realistic people will be positive when they actually see something positive. There's nothing positive about Capel or this program currently. The new Chancellor whoever it may be, and I predict now, it will not be a straight, white, Christian male, it will be anything else, I won't be surprised if they will be trumpeting, "The FIRST <fill in the blank> Chancellor" This new Chancellor will not just be woke, He/She/They/Them will be POWER WOKE and sports won't even be on their radar-other than maybe trans inclusion as a major priority. Just my personal prediction. I have no inside info on this one
