Why can't we recruit as well as Kentucky?

Agree 100%. I think it is also hard for some to ever understand exactly what it is like to be a top prospect in recruiting.
Sometimes, people like to compare committing to getting engaged. So imagine if you had every girl that came to talk to you, throwing themselves at you,

Augmenting more information to the discussion and it is subjective as well but more factors and from other neutral or independent sources for further comparison. Clearly, Stoops has the better recruiting and Narduzzi is doing the better coaching, over the last 2 years, as well as, both are rebuilding their Programs, in my view.

12. Wildcats-Mark Stoops
Kentucky is one of those jobs that could climb further in these rankings in coming years. Historically the program hasn't been great. I mean, Kentucky was an original member of the SEC, yet it's only won two conference titles in its history. Plus, Kentucky is, and always will be, a basketball school. There's no getting around that. In the last few years, though, the school has made more of an effort to improve the football program, and it's possible we could see that work pay off shortly.

9. Panthers-Pat Narduzzi
Pitt isn't a basketball school, and it has a nice football history, but there are other factors working against it. First of all, playing in an NFL stadium rather than on your own campus is always a drawback. Furthermore, it's one thing to be a college team in a major city without pro sports options (i.e. Louisville), but it's another thing entirely when you're in a town that's obsessed with the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.
