Why Conner Should Stay at Pitt

That is such an asinine post

Im sure you said the same about Price last year and the same about Greg Lee.
This branch campus dummy is here to stir up trouble. He's scum like the rest of his ilk. After we beat their ass again next year, he and his dumb blue and white brethren will have more excuses.

If we want your opinion, branch campus dummy, we'll ask for it. Now which branch campus did you attend for the 13th grade?

The Nitter is just worried that Conner stays and rips their defense to shreds next season ....... the thought probably has him changing his pants right now.

Exactly!!!! This moron has already forgotten we beat their butts simply because they went on to get in this Big Pre-10-ed shitfest tomorrow by playing the easiest schedule in the ncaa. He's scum like every ups branch campus dummy.

He could definitely improve it a lot. Unfortunately, like you said, an injury or such could certainly crush his chances.

Disagree. He is who he is and the NFL people have seen that.
The only way he could improve his position would be an extremely large improvement in his speed. That would put him in a Zeke Elliott class. But that's not going to happen.
He will go pro now and get his career started.

I went to Pitt-Bradford. Does that make me a "branch campus dummy?"
Don't be such an arrogant ass. Poster expressed his opinion just like a dozen others on this thread.

As a fifth or sixth round pick, his salary (only if he makes team) is about $370,000. He gets a $50,000 signing bonus. Say he goes in 5th round, no material difference. Only if he goes in rounds 1-4 does it make a difference.
Sure, he could get injured next season, but he's, at worst, in not that much different position than he is today.
My guess, he stays. At least that's what the $$$ dictate. Thoughts?

Most experts say if u r coming out and not going to go in the first 3 rounds then u should stay.

Easy, buddy, Pitt's branch campuses are much different. They're not located on every other block in Pa. No disparagement intended toward you. You obviously don't post here much but in any event I'm not apologizing for calling out a UPS iece of trash who's on this board for one reason: to troll and cause trouble.

You're not his advisor.. He's smarter than you.

i gotta ask......

why is it that i give my opinion (he should go)...and you choose to single me out for your reply?

Many others here have said he should go with solid reasoning. Not a peep from you. Others have given solid reasoning for him to stay. Thats the beauty of a message board.

So why come after me?

Are you that butthurt from prior debates? That thin skinned?

Ill say it again....Connor is going to leave for the league and it is the wisest choice this kid can make, all things considered.

You want to come after me have at it......but it really is shallow and silly.

Honestly, I think he is going to leave too.

That being said, I HONESTLY think he should stay, I think with a monster year next year, and the fact Canada's offense isnt killin the guy (few carries per game). He can come along further in catching, blocking and get his speed and strength back and above where is was before cancer and make himself a top 3 round pick, and possible Heisman. Hey, next year his story will still be good

In conclusion, and ignoring rants about branch campuses and idiots who didn't read the article in the first post about the CBA, it is clear Conner has nothing to gain from being a fifth or sixth round choice as all services currently project. Of course, the decision is his. But Christ, one posts a neutral guestion and people get trolled by idiots.
Apologies for posting in the first place. Yinzers are insufferable.

I know you are dying for him to go pro... branch campus dummy.

I think he should and will do what is best for he and his family. The fact that he got sick could affect his priorities and he may want to go to the NFL as soon as possible. Normally I would always want any athlete to maximize their potential in the classroom and on the playing field and ultimately earn their degree, but in this case I think he will move on. If he decides to stay I wish him nothing but the best, especially the Penn State game. He has been the epitome of a class act.
