Why does anyone care

Does anyone think at this point in time in his life that JDs concern is about money anymore. If you've ever been around people with enough money to do whatever they want that continue to work it's not about the money it's about winning and being successful . His pride and legacy are far more important to him now that his family is well taken care of. He wants to WIN . He wants to retire as Pitts best coach ever. He wants to leave his program to the next coach at a high point not in shambles . You assume that he's blind and doesn't see how his program has regressed over the last few years and if his boss or some other voice he respects offers advise he'd be a fool not to listen. I don't think he's a fool do you? If he ignores the help others might offer especially his bosses he' ll eventually lose his job if Pitt continues to struggle. He's earned a chance to revitalize the program ,but that doesn't mean those above him won't lose patience if things don't improve. Since he's no fool he understands this and knows things need to get better.
