....no one believes that Matt may be just playing this out to both his & the Pitt programs benefit. And when it come down to it he say's Pitt is where he wants to stay & finish what he promised Coach Duzz when he took the job.
This not only plays into Matt's hands as far as getting a raise(healthy at that from Pitt) while also making a powerful statement about who Coach Duzz is & what he has going on at Pitt. Canada had a bit more discussion w/ Coach Duzz when he was offered this job last year & I gotta believe that loyalty, commitment were highly established principles gong forward.
Point is while I know this is all about the Benjamines(spelling?) something tells me that both Coach Duzz & Canada just may be playing this out for all the dramatic effect they can get.....maybe it's my wishful thinking but I just have a feeling it is not as dire tonight as some may be predicting. I'm sure I'm all about money! I'd leave for a nickel more. I laugh at Yinzers who say they'd play for the Steelers for less. It's easy to say when you're not being offered anything personally. Then they say "what's a few extra million?", WELL? it's a FEW EXTRA MILLION. Begrudging people for chasing the money is stupid, it's the only logical thing to do.
