How could it? The game didn't happen.
If Pitt and Gonzaga want the game to count, meet up in the midwest and play.
Man, your brain is wired like no other. Silly suggestion. There's no need to MAKE a game with them count. How could it? The game didn't happen.

I think this is what seriously needs to be considered and what they should do. Probably will not, but just flat out terrible to lose that towards our SOS when we scheduled the game, showed up, and played until we were not allowed to anymore. Not either team's fault they had this game scheduled and didn't have a fit court ready to play on.my guess is no. But, I'm wondering if the opponent is still calculated as part of the schedule, but with no result as opposed to not having been scheduled at all.

Ridiculous. Pitt & Gonzaga both had flights out pretty soon after the game was expected to end. You want Pitt, which plays tomorrow night, to stop off in Tulsa, in a gym they have to CONTRACT for, get rooms, try to sell tix (scratch that, won't happen), then fly back to Pgh on Monday, play on Tuesday?? This isn't a video game. What is silly about it? You think its impossible for Pitt and Gonzaga to board airplanes and meet up in a place like Kansas City, even meaning both teams would face 3 game weeks and short rest? They just flew to the other side of the world. The 2 hour flight to KC or some other MW city isnt exactly a killer.
I agree that it definitely wont happen but its because Pitt doesnt want to and Gonzaga doesnt need to.
