Wonderful win. Finally got that big time win that had just eluded him last year with Kokesh (3OT sudden death loss) and Perry. Also, nice closure considering he was chosen to face Kokesh at NWCA and couldn't because of the injury.

The thing about Tyler is I'm not even remotely surprised - the kid is about excellence in every arena. Those Wilps boys also have a unique attiude about wrestling that is special.

Honestly, given the stakes, I think this is bigger than Matt's win over #1 Honeycutt at EWL's. That's really saying something.

If he makes the finals, I might have to go to St. Louis and scalp.

Wilps was out against PSU this year. Brown beat Reaghard.

Yeah, Brown won in the Southern Scuffle this year. Narrowed the gap over the dual loss from last year, but is it enough? I don't know, but every video of Wilps from this academic year demonstrates that he seems awfully convinced.

I, for one, am not counting him out. Hail to Tyler.

Tyler has never beaten Brown although I think he got robbed in last year's NCAA tourney.
