With the season now over will Pitt now play to win?

Speaking of dumb.

Ffrench 2 carries yesterday. Ollison 2 carries yesterday. That is dumb.

In the really short press conference after the game, Narduzzi was asked a point blank question, coach the pass defense has not been good for 3 straight weeks, what can you do? His answer, there is nothing you can do. That is dumb. On the job training sucks.

Going into a turtle position in the 4th quarter. That is dumb. Playing not to lose mentality. That is dumb.

Narduzzi bread and butter is defense. Remind me again what is our defense ranking? If I'm not mistaken it's in the triple digits. That is dumb.

I'm still not exactly sure what Canada was supposed to do differently in the fourth quarter? He ran the exact same plays they ran all game, and UNC made stops.

The one play I hated was the Conner dump pass, but was that the actual play, or Peterman checking down?

In any case, I'm sure people would have been thrilled if Peterman threw an interception over the middle of the field with 9 minutes left. It is easy to second guess after the fact while sitting on the couch.

Then you better find a different team, because honestly, that is what Pitt is always going to be. They may every once in a while win a coastal championship, but most years they will be a 7 or 8 win team. Seriously, there are only a couple teams such as Bama, OSU, FSU, LSU, and a couple others that live up to your standards year in and year out.

Pitt was horrendous for most of the 90's. Since then, things haven't been bad at all...slightly above average.
Bingo! Chryst and Graham are winning at other schools. Sometimes u have to look into the mirror and accept reality.

Means crap. Team is gutless and it starts with the coaching. Someone mentioned in another thread about last season and the fake punts, going for it a lot on 4th down, etc... They played to win. Now they are playing to lose and it starts with Narduzzi. I don't get how he can change like that in 1 year but he did. And he takes no responsibility for the team's bad play.
Yep, that's the most frustrating part. Duzzi saw it firsthand last year with Iowa, then fixed it, or so we thought.
