They signed a ridiculously high number of players this spring, especially if you count transfers. However at the spring season game against Duquesne this past Saturday there appeared to be several players from last fall who were not playing. Now that could mean injured or academics or something else, but it looks like there will be a lot of new players in the fall and a lot of the "returning" players will not be returning.

Maybe, but it appeared that a few of the best players from last year were some of the ones not there.

And bringing in as many recruits as they did seems like a strategy that can't work in the long run. As someone said to me, it almost feels like he's throwing stuff against the wall hoping that some of it sticks.

But we will see. He's certainly had success elsewhere, and the job here was a big one, so no one should have expected great things in the first couple years anyway.
