Lost 100 to 44. Ouch!

The good news is we got the best team on the schedule behind us.

The bad news is that next up is No. 9 NC State at their place.

Going to be another rough year, but better days ahead...

Go Pitt.

Nothing new here. Tremendous talent disparity. We've been saying all along
that they're gonna get blown out in some games. Notre Dame is #2 for a
reason.
As long as they keep working hard, showing energy, etc., nobody can expect
much more from this group. I watched most of the game tonight and the Pitt
women looked about the same as they have the last few games. The difference
is the level of talent that N.D. is at right now
We can't compete with the N.D.'s, Uconn's, etc. at this time. There are a few ACC
teams we can beat this year. The program will get better if the new coach improves
the recruiting.

I think he may already have. 5 recruits in the early signing period including 2 bigs.

Yes he has. Supposedly they're an upgrade from the present crew. Since he's
losing a few to graduation, the newbies will play a lot. This rebuild will take a
few years.

Second big? Is there more than one 6-3 or taller commit? I thought there was only the girl from Georgia.

It's amazing how the talent gap differs in women's basketball as opposed to
the men's programs. A lower level men's programs could beat a top level
team on a given day. Pitt for instance shouldn't be able to beat let's say
Duke or a Michigan this year, but unlikely as it is, it could happen. It's not
that unusual for some non entity like a George Mason, or last years'
Loyola team to somehow makes it to the final four.
Women's basketball? A lower level team could never beat this year's UCONN
or ND. Could a lower level women's team make it to the final four?... Not with
the present talent difference. IMO the gap is basically insurmountable IMO.

go before it does.
