Women's volleyball wins at #25 Duke

Big win to get to 20-4 and possibly ranked if they beat Wake tomorrow.

Wow. Exorcised that last road match and our last match against a ranked opponent in one swoop. Been impressed by Fisher for a while, glad to see his team push over that ranked teams hurdle. He's done a great job with Rens' kids, but two of his kids in Genitasridi & Bell really stepped up in a tough situation. There's something to be said for that.

2nd team in the ACC to 20 wins. We're in a logjam at 4th, a half game back of 3rd. Lucked out getting Notre Dame & Louisville as the repeat opponents, that could bode well going forward.

Way to go girls ! No doubt it was a big win

But Duke was about to fall out of the rankings as they lost to VTech last Sunday. We need more quality wins in order to make the NCAA's. Looks like Miami and maybe UVA are best teams left on the schedule.

There are several big match ups left on the schedule for PITT to win its way into the NCAA tournament. With a win at Wake I would have to think they'll climb into the RPI top 50 heading into the last two weeks of the season.

And Duke had already been dinged from #21 to #25 for the VT loss.
