Absolutely!! Same with fried chicken. I had a fried chicken sandwich at Appalachian Brewery (Harrisburg area) a couple of weeks ago. It was soggy and greasy. Worst fried ___ sandwich I’ve had in a long time.

I’ve never been impressed with Appalachian Brewing Co., especially the food. I guess it rates pretty well with locals considering there aren’t a ton of other options in Central PA.

I know it is a ubiquitous chain but it is tough to beat Chik Fil A on the chicken sandwiches. Everything is hand-breaded there.

They are good but I think Popeyes has them beat for the chicken sandwich.

I’ve never been impressed with Appalachian Brewing Co., especially the food. I guess it rates pretty well with locals considering there aren’t a ton of other options in Central PA.

It’s pretty far down on my list of breweries and restaurants. The lady I just started dating wanted to give it a try. They had a pretty good sour beer and the food was edible. But there are so many better places around that I’m not likely to go back without having a good reason.

I had my first Popeye's chicken sandwich on a recent trip through VA.
I had been looking forward to it for a long time, based upon reviews, and it just never happened for me.
I must say, I was EXTREMELY disappointed. It was greasy with a lot of dark meat. Maybe it was a bad franchise, but it was terrible.
