After our session with Pat Narduzzi today, a few of the writers were tossing out scenarios, and what if this happened on Saturday:
Phil Jurkovec throws for a reasonable stat line - say 240 yards and 2 or maybe even 3 touchdowns - but Pitt still loses because they can't make enough stops on defense. Call it 41-35 or 31-25, somewhere around there (so Pitt would still cover +7). Would that shock you? Would it inspire any amount of confidence for the season going forward?
This is just a conversation starter, but I'm curious what you guys think.
