they have nobody better on offense. Santos looks just as lost shooting the ball. Burton is awful. he led our team in rebounding and plays hard defense. he's not good - he's particularly bad on offense but he's one of the better athletes and at least has length.
I agree. Jeffress is on the
floor because there isn't
anyone else to replace him.
Defense, rebounding and a
few late meaningless 3's.
All of these low level teams
we play seem to have a
few players who would be
on our roster and actually
help. Kennedy tonight would
start for us. Their 3's were
not luck, they can shoot. It
wasn't just our poor D, we
don't have players who can
shoot like that. This was not
a bottom feeder in their league.
BTW the Citadel, now 4-2 has
players who can out shoot us.
IMO they would beat us again
if we played them now. Their
star IMO is better than
ANYONE we have. It's not all
bad coaching. TALENT
Zeise is right about having no clue of what Pitt runs on offense or even what they are trying to do.
Watch any of our games. We lose contact and let small leads mount when we have several clueless offensive possessions. In those stretches we are completely rudderless and make bad decisions, make bad passes and take bad shots by the wrong shooters.

things you listed unfortunately
happen over and over. As far as
"bad shots by the wrong shooters"
Who are our GOOD shooters? We
basically don't have any. Santos
IMO is our best potentially, but he's
gone cold (frosh, he gets a pass).
These lower level teams are knocking
down shots because they CAN
shoot. They may be too open, but
we can't hit the same shots. We
are not good in that and many
other aspects of the game.
Jeffress missed an unguarded 8 footer. It did not even draw iron. That is pretty damn bad.

Tell ya how I see that. He
did just what you said. Yet
late in the game he hit two,
what you called meaningless
3's. Why?...the game was
basically over at that point.
He was under no pressure.
His mechanics are fine, my guess
is it's all in his head.
We went from up 18-13 to down 30-21 in a span of a few minutes in the first half. Because when we miss a few shots we also stop playing defense.
With about 6-7 minutes left, we had Onye and Jeffess in the game. That is playing 3 on 5
