For those b***tching about Pitt not being as dominant as could be, keep in mind how scary opening games are in cfb. It's 5:30, and already some results are mind-boggling. Examples: WMich upset NW 22-21, Hou, a 13 pt dog beat Okla 33-23, S Ala beat Miss St as a 27.5 pt underdog. Some halftime scores Tex St, a 17 pt dog, leads Ohio U 14-6, Richmond, an 11 pt dog, is beating Va of the ACC 16-7, and Kent St is only down 3 to the Nits as a 24 pt underdog. Keep in mind Temple already has lost to Army and WF, Tenn, and Conn barely squeaked by lesser competition. These games could change, but the point is that opening games are scary for the big favorites. Pitt had its moments but we'll take a 28-7 win, and get ready for next week.
