Strange request but my buddies kid is big into wrestling and he's him taking to a match. The kid apparently loves Pitt wrestling. I'm not a wrestling guy but he asked if Pitt has "2 for takedown" foam finger that I guess other schools have. he wants to get his son a pitt one but i couldn't find anything online.

So - for those who go to matches, does pitt sell those? Or any other wrestling merch?

Not often a Cumberland County kid randomly picks Pitt over PSU so I want to help him out.

I've never seen the item you're describing but we sell stuff in the team store at the Pete and sometimes at matches. To be honest they've done a terrible job with it but hopefully it improves with the new administration

Call the wrestling office during the day. They would know. You would speak to one of the coaches most likely.

Pitt Wrestling has produced something like that item before, but I think they were a match giveaway many years ago. Never seen them for sale.

There are Pitt Wrestling-specific items available on the Pittsburgh Wrestling Club website. If you donate at certain levels, they give you stuff for free. Otherwise, the dad can buy individual items and I think all the money goes back into the program (paying assistants, travel, community engagement, etc.), though I'm not sure 100% about that.

The Baddest Cats shirt & Pitt Script socks are items I've never seen before... and really want now that I'm looking at them. Haha.
