Probably a much better chance that he either stays home or goes to one of the other big names that were in on him.
I don’t expect to get guys like that but expect our recruiting to be better than any time since the Willard era.

Recruits come to duke for coach k and the crazy atmosphere. Pitt is not a winning school. He will not put recuit k in the acc. He won’t even be there that long. It’s funny all the duke people in the know say almost it’s been confined he will be head coach in waiting
Its not like Pitt is like PSU in BB and making the tourney once a decade. Pitt is only 2 years removed from making the tourney what 12 out of 13 season's. Also spent parts of 2 years less than a decade ago at #1. Is Pitt a NC or Duke in BB hell no but its also not a program that hasn't had decent success in the last couple of decades.

GREAT! I sure hope he is hired as the Duke HC in 4+ years. That would mean he was very, very successful at Pitt and we will have some great options to replace him!

He would get us back to a higher seeded regular tournament team & Duke would have to pay some of his buyout as he is signed for 7 years.

Pitt had a better record than Duke for the 10 years ending 2016. Pitt is a winning program with a great atmosphere for games with the right leadership. We are coming for the Dukies!!!
No offense, but that seems kind of silly to bring up considering Duke won 2 national titles in that time span and Pitt never came close to winning anything.
