.......one of the best coaching jobs in my 50 years as a Pitt junkie. In the past 25 years starting w/ Howland Pitt has had some great coaching where teams rose to improve thru out the season to reach very high levels. But this year may have been the absolute best because of all adversity thrown at this team.
Kids luv playing for Capel & he allows them the freedom to be themselves & make mistakes w/o worrying about getting pulled. This gets them to play fearless basketball for their coach.
It's not always going to be great basketball or winning ball but it will be players giving their all for this coach.
