What is NFL Parity?

I would guess that it's considered on some level. Those Vegas guys don't miss much.
yeah, they kind of have it figured out.

Im not a huge gambler anymore, mainly cause i hate losing money. What irritates me is betting money line. So in theory, steelers are what, minus 3.5. So if you bet the browns straight up to win, you get 168 bucks for every 100 bucks you bet. If you bet the steelers to win, then you'll have to bet 200 bucks to win 100.

OK, i get it, makes a ton of sense. BUT what irritates me is they also put "juice" on that. not just the 10% but sometimes like 20 or 30%. i hate that, the money line should just be normal bet, 10% juice and that's it but they are putting an extra hit on it.

They also do it if you are betting the spread. Higher "juice" hits for different bets. i dont get that. So you take the browns + 3.5 but you have to pay 20% on it, why not just make it lower (or higher) and keep it at 10%?

It's almost like they want to make MORE money off of us..

Guess we lost Dotson

Been kind of watching this thread with some fascination. I honestly wouldn't put a lot of stock into the HS recruiting this year. Most schools are carrying anywhere from 120 to 135 kids and the roster has to get to 105, per the new rules. Kind of surprised that this hasn't been the subject of a freak-out here but Pitt already has a ton of kids in the portal. Guessing Duzz has already made it clear that there won't be room for some kids. My point is that unless someone comes up with a clever way to cheat this rule, there will be over 1,000 kids without a P4 roster spot at their current school in a few weeks. Many probably already know that. And that doesn't count the guys that were already considering of trying to transfer upwards. This kind of screws the majority of this HS class. Yeah, coaches will still take kid but there will be a lot of talent at the 3-star level that will be looking for a roster spot that already know how to exist in a P4 program.

Will be interesting to see if there will be entire programs that opt-out of a bowl. If you don't make the playoff you might want to get after that transfer portal right away.
