If you are Nova, UNC, Syracuse, Louisville, go out and, at very worst, get the top mid-major guy. At best, you make an SEC type hire. Maybe you get a Nate Oats or Bruce Pearl type to leave. I dont understand why they shoot so low just because some assistant is well thought of. Brandin Knight did great to bring in Ace Baily but he has no ambition to be a HC. No way would I hire him if Capel left. Way too much risk.

This is just another example of why Pitt should never touch Brandin Knight with 100 foot pole if the opportunity ever comes up unless he goes out and proves himself as a head coach at a decent level.
