I don’t care at all about empty seats !So then, you want a school the size of Pitt, in a pro town, to consistently fill a 70,000 seat stadium? Give me a break — that’s absurd!
Doesn’t really have a development problem /

Don’t like how they look on tv ?
Fill a seat
In the end, these guys need to fill blogs and online articles. Anything they can BS about for five-hundred words is golden to them. Guys ripping balls out of gloves. What the coach said. What he didn't say. Does the QB's hand smell that way because he wipes with it or does the center not keep his grundle clean enough. Five-hundred words is a paycheck.I think it's definitely that for a lot of the older types. For the younger media types, it's the fact that we live in the age of outrage where everything is the WORST THING EVER and no assortment of adjectives could possibly be too strong. This was disgusting. It was despicable! It was.... HEINOUS!!!!!!!!
Ban them for life. Hell, don't even let them shop in the same supermarkets as us non glove-prying folks.
Login to view embedded mediaThere are probably 15 backup quality QBs that are starting in this league. And probably a large handful of backups who could be starting level QBs, some of whom are currently backing up young pedigreed guys who teams have invested draft capital in and are waiting for those QBs to come of age.
In other words you can lump in QBs #16-40 and call them viable NFL QBs. But I get it, you said he wasn’t an NFL QB, probably because he’s not your kind of guy.
we are all rooting for the train here, right? I know we dont say it out loud but we all secretly hope a train comes thru this as quickly as possible..
Greene county. PA pennsylvania. The woods and immediate bordering territory. Not saying it so you do not think I am crazy. Who seen one? Up to 3 now for me.
The worst situation for a team sport in the PIAA is lacrosse. The best teams are from District 1 but they only break out classifications as AA and AAA. In AA, only 2 teams get to go to the state tournament while District 3 (Lancaster/Harrisburg area) send 5 and they are not very good. The classification breakout is even worse...you have schools with 200 boys trying to play against schools with 500 boys.I mean if your district has 25% of the 6A teams, why shouldn't they receive 25% of the PIAA bids? Unless you institute some sort of NET rank like Joe loves, there's really no way to know that some farm team champion from Pennsytucky is any better than the 11th best team from the Philly suburbs.
Difference being in Philly Betts ends up with a shoulder dislocation followed by several "your mother is a....." statements with an 82% chance of spittle being involved..A point was made on the DVE morning show today -- Yankees fans do it and it makes them legends and part of the team's mystique ... had a Philly fan done it, they would have been blacklisted from ever attending another baseball game and the National Guard would be brought in for the next game.
I guess when you acknowledge Appalachia runs into NY then it makes more sense. Because usually you correlate "Appalachian" with the south. And Pittsburgh is definitely not the south. It's still weird to think of Pittsburgh as part of Appalachia because it doesn't look like most of the rest of the region.
