Narduzzi: “They wanted more money. We didn’t need those guys.” - Article

Refreshing article.

Aliquippa Youth Football booted

I am absolutely shocked to learn of this. Trinity is a huge district geographically but its very sparsely populated. How are they projecting all this growth? What towns are the people going to move to? To be honest, its a really crappy area. I guess you can say look at Seneca Valley and Canon McMillan but Trinity is further out than those 2. I just dont get it.

And for a school with arguably the worst big-ish school sports programs, this fantastic indoor athletic complex seems like an unbelievable waste of money. In such a poor, rural, conservative district, how did this get built? I dont think there's another one of these in all the WPIAL. Well, Penn Hills.

When you say "look at Seneca and Canon Mac, but Trinity is further out." I'm not sure what all the crying is about? It takes 30 minutes to get SV from downtown. It takes 39 minutes to get to Trinity from downtown.

Penn Hills has an indoor facility as does New Castle. Login to view embedded media

Why isnt there an ACC Volleyball Tournament?

Are conference tournaments not a thing in volleyball? Why? That would help grow the game even further I'd think.
"Because no one cares about women's volleyball...all they care about is football and men's basketball.

Any money spent on Olympic sports is foolish because they don't make a profit or break even.

These schools would be wise to stop filling up basketball arenas for women's volleyball too. What a waste of time and precious resources..."

Louisville game....

I would also suggest the East Market District (NuLu). I went to Louisville for a concert a few years ago and stayed downtown and yes, downtown was dead at night. The NuLu area had some good restaurants and bars/breweries.

Some suggestions:

Butchertown Grocery Bakery
Biscuit Belly
West Sixth Brewery
Akasha Brewing
Red Tree (neat store, interesting browsing)
Against the Grain Brewery

Definitely visit the Louisville Slugger Museum and take a tour, highlight of the trip.
