Aliquippa Youth Football booted

Part of Trinity's justification for building the indoor athletic facility was the projected growth their district is expected to see in the next 10-15 years.

I am absolutely shocked to learn of this. Trinity is a huge district geographically but its very sparsely populated. How are they projecting all this growth? What towns are the people going to move to? To be honest, its a really crappy area. I guess you can say look at Seneca Valley and Canon McMillan but Trinity is further out than those 2. I just dont get it.

And for a school with arguably the worst big-ish school sports programs, this fantastic indoor athletic complex seems like an unbelievable waste of money. In such a poor, rural, conservative district, how did this get built? I dont think there's another one of these in all the WPIAL. Well, Penn Hills.

A Note About Our New AD

A 1-on-1 online fitness coaching client of mine is an Auburn fan, and he had some good things to say about Allen Greene. Just thought I'd pass them along here...

He said: "Allen Greene is a good AD I believe, the only criticism which is a big one at Auburn was that he made the wrong football hire with Bryan Harsin. Other Auburn sports were doing well and he was good at fundraising. My dad was an Auburn season ticket holder for football and basketball for 40 years. He passed away while Allen Green was the AD and he along with the President, Christopher Roberts came to my mom with a note from Bruce Pearl and expressed their condolences. He seems like a good man, but just made the wrong choice with Bryan Harsin and it got him fired."
