Yeah, I've noticed some of that, too. Fact checking and attention to detail are starting to feel like a lost art.I wish the ACCN daily show, ACC PM, would get their facts straight. In yesterday's broadcast (or maybe Tuesday's) they briefly discussed the "other" fall sports, and still had Pitt's Men's Soccer team ranked #1. They also had the Women's Volleyball team ranked #3. Lazy
That was a pretty good showing up against a full college football slate, by the way, but apparently at least 53k of those households can't be bothered.
They were probably trying to lure the other Watt out of retirement. Bronny would get on another squads G League team too. He stunk and still does. Only here because of TJ. Giannis brother isn't great either. The Watt that played professionally for another team??? He was qualified. See how that works?
End lines aren't bad. I was at Minnesota/PSU on Sunday and sat in the 4th row on the end line. Was a really good angle. Was low enough that you could appreciate how high the girls were getting. Just have to keep your head on a swivel when you sit that low. Those cross court cut shots can come at you pretty fast.I've been so amped for this week, leaving shortly for the game tonight and then a short night and on to Friday night volleyball.
Tickets are still available through the ticket office but they are on the end lines. Really hoping to find 2 that will give them a good view and really get pulled into the Pitt fan twilight zone.
I don't think we received serves as well last year. It's still not stellar but it's a bit of give and take. Libero play is better but SMU absolutely dominated Pitt in that game in Dallas. Bad night? Found a hole? We'll see. Also, Babcock is a little more consistent this year. Power servers will always have a higher error rate but it's better. Would also add that Flood and VVG have been around long enough that they should be pretty good at serving, LOL.When watching other teams last year and the year before, it appeared to me that this was an area where other teams had an advantage over us. Maybe it wasn’t as profound as I imagined but nonetheless it doesn’t appear that way this year.
(I felt that way about our libero play too but I think I might have been incorrect with that assessment?).

Especially on TV, although they are getting better.
