Once the 12 team playoff starts…

…enough with this Murderer’s Row of OOC games. Give me teams that Pitt can beat the snot out of. It’s about stacking wins, and that’s it. I don’t care if the same 35k people show up, eff it, just win. I’m telling you, in December nobody remembers who you beat in August/September. But they sure as hell remember if you lost.

Is Kenny Pickett the last of a dying breed?

A buddy was reminiscing about an old Gene Collier article where he stated (correctly, I think), that the Pirates will NEVER have another hall of fame player go in as a Pirate.

We started discussing CFB and he believes that a guy like Pickett, a QB who A) stayed all 4 years and B) stayed at the same school, and made it to the NFL is something that will be come extremely rare.

I suspect we will see a few examples going forward, but not many to be sure.

OT - Rose Bowl Weather Report

I hope that a lot of central PA fans traveled to soCal for the Rose Bowl, it is supposedly gonna be overcast for the Rose Parade, but raining for the Rose Bowl. I hope anyone travelling from nit land get drenched and regret travelling to the game, other than having the Utes kick their asses.

This will be a game where I'm not a Ute fan other than a game like this or them beating USC to end up here.
