So the end last 2 minutes of the second half is when this game turned.

Holding UC to a FG attempt. They missed it. It was 17-3. Could have been 20-3. Hell 24-3. Then their linemen got hurt that last play. Which allowed us to kick a FG. And what could have, should have been a 17-21 point deficit was all of a sudden 11.

Then Satterfield really had some questionable play calls in the second half. Like the series where they threw three straight incompletions. Saving clock but also we never proved we can stop the run.

Terrible half of football

Obviously this is terrible. 5-14 with an end zone pick and 2 near picks. The defense can’t get off the field. Penalties at bad times. Lucky this game isn’t 28-3.
In 2nd half Holstein sits. I don’t care about hurting his confidence. He’s young and can bounce back.
I care mostly to determine how coaches respond. So far coaching gets a D. Team gets D-.

Big East Pitt football vs ACC Pitt football

I said before, that Pitt football did more damage and was the single most disappointing program in that conference's history. Even our shining moment, killed the Big East by denying WVU a national title. We never stepped up ever.

Now the ACC? We have done much for the ACC than even some of it most storied programs since we have arrived. The ACC can have some buyers remorse on some schools, but not Pitt. We have been mostly a positive for the conference. It is a shame we don't get more respect.

The Reason Pitt Won Boils Down to One Thing.

I was recording the game while doing some work. I was checking one the game occasionally and getting more depressed. I decided to stop the recording and delete the game to save DVR. THEN IT HAPPENED! Pitt goes crazy and scores 22 unanswered points. I turned the game on again to check the final score and saw the game winning field goal. THE FATES HATE ME FOR SURE!!!!!!!

My god, I actually can’t believe it.

Bell is so good. He calls a game like it’s a video game, which is great. I love everything he is doing. And the best thing he did, contrary to me, and the rest of the board, was stick with Eli.

Also, D gave up 10 points in the 2nd half. Gandy might be a player at CB.
