If

Eli Holstein has a good year. I would think recruiting receivers and playmakers much easier over the next couple of years. Not to mention giving the coaches ammo to future recruits Pitt has a special player at the most important position and the future is extremely bright. Add the fact this offense will be much more enticing to sell future high school football players.

Just got to keep getting quality offensive linemen so this offense can reach its full potential

House v. NCAA agreement details roster sizes, NIL transparency as college leaders set blueprint for future

“Football rosters will be limited to 105 players, resulting in as many as 20 additional scholarships beyond the current scholarship restrictions (85), sources told CBS Sports. With unlimited scholarships, baseball teams will be able to provide as many as 34 scholarships to players, an increase from the 11.7 "equivalency" among 27 players allowed today. Softball will jump from 12 to 25.”

True Freshman To Play

I know people are a little less interested in this since it is becoming rarer for a player to use all their eligibility at one school, but just going from memory of what I saw, Pitt only had 2 true freshman play:

Sincere Edwards - Kent St
Malachi Thomas - Kent St
Jahsear Whittington - Kent St

Am I missing anyone?

I know some like Goff, Brewu, etc. may eventually play, but just keeping an eye out for ones that actually do.

Given all the openings on the team this year, it is a good thing in a way if we can afford to still redshirt most freshman and develop them. Even if we are developing them for Colorado :p
