• Penn State over SMU - I’d love to see SMU win, and I think they can, but PSU gets it done.
• Clemson over Texas - Been going back and forth. Texas is better, but Dabo has so much big game experience and will have Clemson ready to play.
• Tennessee over Ohio State - OSU is a $20 million roster that couldn’t care less about the program. Tennessee has more fight. Give me the Vols.

The Pitt football program will host a Junior Day next weekend (1/18) for some top 2026 and 2027 prospects on Saturday. The coaches will bring them to the basketball game against Clemson, and there should be a solid turnout.

I live in Pittsburgh, but I def want to watch the fatal end of some game in Tennessee. And don’t tell me you don’t know where I live cause blackout pens games all the time

At what point is it just ridiculous the number of Western Carolina guys we bring in?

Matt Zenitz reported Zion Booker (WR from WCU, 5’10, 185 lbs) is visiting Pitt this week. He was WCU 3rd best receiver statistically this year. He may be a good player, he may not be, idk. But, what is the point in getting a 3rd WR from WCU that will just be the exact same thing as the other 2. At some point you have to branch out and get guys that are more diverse.

WCU isn’t the “Georgia” of FCS football. All these guys aren’t going to translate to the FBS level. Having Desmond Reid is obviously awesome and a huge hit that he is as good as he is. It just is unrealistic to expect all these guys to be that good at the P4 level. Knowing the system that Kade Bell wants to run was a good selling point the first year. Now, that should not be a selling point, they aren’t learning quantum physics. You should be able to teach 1-2 transfers from other schools how to play WR in this offense.

With that being said, it would be good to get OT Derek Simmons from WCU. More so bc he is good and at a position of need rather than “knowing the Kade Bell” system.

Anyone have a feel for what Jaland will do after this year, know its early but any idea?

But the Steelers are beginning to look like the Panthers as the regular season winds down. They have looked downright awful against the Eagles and Ravens the past two games. KC @ home on Christmas Day won't be easy, nor will the Bengals if they are finally catching their stride

I certainly wasn't expecting the Steelers to be anything more than a 10-7 or 9-8 team this year - just as my expectations for the Panthers were (about 6-6 or 7-5) - but when they came out at 10-3 I wondered if maybe I overlooked something. They really looked overmatched as the game wore on. That fumble by Wilson when it was 7-7 was a killer, and they never were able to recover

Yes, the Ravens got lucky perhaps with recovering three of their own fumbles in addition to the one by Russell. But their rushing game and overall offense was far better than Pittsburgh's. I can't wait to see what Pittsburgh Dad is going to say about this in his next video recap. Hope it gives me something to laugh about. I know his neighbor Tom will be happy ...
