Uzbekistan can qualify on June 5 with at least a draw vs UAE.

South Korea only needs a draw at Iraq to qualify but even if they dont get it, will almost assuredly get what they need at home vs Kuwait.

The Iraq @ Jordan winner on June 10 will probably qualify depending on June 5 results.

The June 10 Australia @ Saudi Arabia may decide the runner-up in Japan's group and direct qualification depending on June 5 results.

The 3rd and 4th place teams in the 3 groups move onto the next round where there will be 2 groups of 3 with those group winners advancing and the runners-up playing off for the right to advance to the Interconfederation Playoffs.

For you New Caledonia fans, tough loss to New Zealand in the Oceania final but you can still qualify through the Interconfederation playoff.

I think Oceania should have gotten a play-off spot instead of direct qualification. Maybe that would force NZ to join Asia like Australia did. Because beating a bunch of tiny islands where soccer is not even the primary sport is just too easy.

Well you kind of got your wish, because they have a direct spot AND a playoff spot.

Like I said, they have completely ruined qualifying.
