As I've said numerous times, college basketball is a coach's game. Football is a players' game. The best basketball coaches are going to be in the NCAA Tournament. The question becomes, how many spots per year will be open for everyone else. Here's who I pick to get into next year's tournament, without knowing what any of these rosters will look like. Let's see how close I get.

So this is 29 coaches guaranteed to take whatever team they coach next year to the NCAA Tournament. This leaves roughly 15 spots for everyone else. Even guys like Brownell, Willard, Musselman, I didn't put on this list so that would limit it further. There are a lot of really good college basketball coaches. If you don't have one, its nearly impossible to make the NCAAT.

and Hinson wasn't just the shooter, he was the leader Capel requires in part due to his deficiencies

all coaches would benefit from a Hinson find and Jeff gets credit for finding him and I'm sure facilitating his leadership but the combination was somewhat lucky and along with Bub even HCJC was able to be carried along for 1 year

we will see him around for likely 2 more years, my hope would be 1 because my hope for no more will not happen
