40 Times for Henderson and Foster

In one way, Foster feels like untapped potential and that it's only a matter of time before he shows what he can do. However, his career numbers were like a two-week stretch for James Washington last year.

Henderson always seemed more quick than fast, so the time doesn't exactly surprise me. It's definitely not one that's going to 'wow' NFL teams. I still view him as a 7-UDFA as a specialist. He has a lot to prove as a receiver.

Henderson seems to have made a bad decision from the looks of it.

But he also seems to make things happen on returns. Very fun to watch.

Both are terrible WRs currently...

At least Henderson can return kicks and punts.

Why is Foster even at the combine? He barely played in college.
He played a lot. He played at Alabama. He is a fantastic athlete. He has an NFL shot after today's workout, but it seems very unlikely he can stick.

I'd actually have been more surprised if he got left out of the combine than Henderson, who has practically no WR skill and today had a pretty poor showing.

I don't mean to sound mean, but Foster had a difficult time learning Bama's offense when he first got there (and by first, I mean the first two years), so I wonder if he would be able to grasp a pro offense in time to make any team.

If Foster was in Morgantown would he be the smartest person in town like you were when you were here?

Henderson wasnt progressing. Another year wouldnt have made him a real WR. Even if he was lights out as a returner, who is going to give a roster spot to a guy that touches the ball 3-5x and thats including a ton of kick off touchbacks as touches?

Difficult to disagree with this statement, as all his stats went down last year. He should have stayed a year just to continue developing, and of course having your name down for the top returner in NCAA history isnt exactly a bad thing to chase either. However, this choice was financial. I am sure he was offered money by an agent and took it.

Agreed. He has almost no chance in the NFL in either scenario.
