He’s pretty opinionated on twitter. And his 1020 radio show is now political. He doesn’t follow one party line but he has strong opinions that do rub the ultrapolitical weenies the wrong way.

Stallings was an uncharismatic guy who was a crony hire. We know how it worked out. But he didn’t get a chance. That’s not something to hold against Zeise. It’s not his fault Stallings didn’t have a PG to run an offense that first year, a way too green PG the 2nd, and was gone by the 3rd. Nor should we expect our media personalities to be experts.

Everyday on this board we hear Madden said this and Cook said that. So what. They’re just personalities with opinions who aren’t always right. But if you want to say Zeise sucks because he sounds like an idiot, that holds some water. Lol.

I mean. They all suck. Thankfully I don't live in Pittsburgh though so my only exposure to any of them is what's posted on the board.

As much as he projects the "Angry talk show host", Zeise is very knowledgeable and is fair.
He goes after all sides. there are times when i think is a Democrat and the next thing i know he is bashing or making sarcastic comments about Biden and vice versa with the Republicans respectively.
He is probably the most fair when it comes to covering Pitt. He is suppoive of Narduzzi and his son Elijah played WR at Pitt.

I think he falls asleep. Seriously. There was a tweet a couple weeks ago where they showed the studio cam and after a few minutes a producer had to run into the studio and wake him up. It was hilarious.

Larry King used to do that on his CNN show. He took these little power naps during commercial breaks. But he always had someone waking him up.

That’s pretty funny.

Also it often sounds like he’s eating. I swear I’ve heard silverware hitting a plate before.

But here’s the point…he’s posting. A majority of the local media could care less about Pitt. Zeise does. People may not always like what he says, but he’s not going to sugar coat things when they aren’t going well. And that should be ok.

I don't like him because he's a MAGAt.

I'm ok with him when he sticks to sports.
