Camacho gets a cut on his forehead, but cruises to 12-2 victory. Will face top-seeded Jarrett Trombley in one of Pitt's most significant matches of the day.

Casto struggling to get out. Getting crushed in riding time. Seems like he ran out of gas after dominating the 1st period.

Casto is so cringe. He doesn't want to wrestle O'Connor again

Same old story with Casto, at least Heller looked really good avenging his loss to Antrasian.

Has anyone seen a single stall call? That Casto-Keating match was God awful. Keating did nothing but ride an ankle on top. Casto did nothing on the bottom.

Keys for Pitt in the semifinals:
1. Take care of business with top seeds (obviously)
2. Get two finalists from 125/174/285. Of these, 285 would be the biggest surprise, but considering the low-scoring matches that these two wrestle, a Slinger takedown might be enough.
3. Get a Lachlan McNeil win over Ryan Jack at 141. They’ve split a pair of matches over the past two years. A UNC finalist here is much preferable to another for NC State.
4. Have Andy Smith beat Isaac Trumble at 197. Nino has shown he can beat Trumble, but I think we’d all much rather see Smith in the final.

Matthews called 3x?!
The officiating today has been atrocious. Stalling was almost never called (on Mat 1 anyway) in round 1. Now sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. Matthews calls were very fast. Stopped counting on Jack on legs. Screwed up pretty much everything in Orine-Latona match. Just bad all around.

149 – Badgett, PITT, vs. 3 Jarod Verkleeren, UVA, Sr., 19-8
157 – Casto, PITT, vs. 3 Ed Scott, NCST, So., 16-7
165 – Heller, PITT, vs. 6 Gabe Dinette, DUKE, Sr., 0-9
174 – Augustine, PITT, vs. 4 Michael Goldfeder, UNC, Jr., 12-9

You needed a lot of hope for that to happen.
One of our #1 seeds lost, so it was possible, and Slinger kept it close. With the way his season went with the uncertainty of Pitzer, I was hoping he'd pull it out. It was pretty close bout. H2P

I thought we might have a chance with badgett, but he had zero offense the entire tournament, can’t win that way
