7 of Pitt's 11 losses came against teams with an RPI of 17 or better. That's crazy.

So, the #1 bracketologist has us over 7 teams. The Bracket Matrix compilation has us over 6 teams. Lunardi, the #38 bracketologist, has us over 0 teams. That disparity really makes me believe there is some Philly bias.

Well regardless of Lunardi being a major tool, he has been pretty accurate in predicting the number of teams in the tournament every year.

My major worry is the committee having to listen to him over and over on every ESPN network bash Pitt. It shouldn't but it might influence the committee.

His picks haven't been all that good lately....his days are done, made his loot before he had much competition. I doubt the committee listens to anybody who's a bracketologist.. I surely wouldn't....it's all a game for ratings.

He also said the winner of the Syracuse game would be safely in and after we won he moved us to last 4 in.

Take whatever you want with a grain of salt, I heard what he said and it is obvious he panders to his audience and says 20 different things.

My fear is that all the committee members will be hearing that loudmouth blast Pitt all weekend and maybe it'll influence them.

The committee members are prestigious AD's who are much more savvy than Lunardi. The fact that Barnes knows these guys personally having chaired the committee just a couple of years ago also helps tremendously.
