AFC Divisional GAME

Another interesting stat: Browns were third in rushing in the regular season, Chiefs were 21st in the run defense.

On top of that, Cleveland was 5th in takeaways per game while Mahomes led the league in dropped interceptions; meanwhile, Mayfield has been very good taking care of the ball.

If the Browns can control the clock/ground game while winning the turnover battle, they just may be able to pull it off. We shall see...

14-2 is 14-2, but the Chiefs have gone down to the wire with some less than stellar teams. Not sure what to expect, but I'll be rooting for Cleveland.

Was going to say that we might know early on if the Browns stand a chance. If the Chiefs come out firing on all cylinders, it could get ugly. And so far it's looking as if that might be the case. A field goal would be a nice moral victory here.

I played the Chiefs -5 1st half and took a shot at the over 3.5 sacks at +110. The over sacks play may look a little square but the price was so good I felt I had to play it. Saw 3.5 -130 at a few places offshore.

I jumped on the Over when it first came out.

Browns super bowl was lastvweek just like Rams. Take Chiefs in a 2+ touchdown win. Rested at home and better team. Ben not giving Browns 28 points this week.

I thought about it, wanted to wait a little closer to game time to see if there would be any weather/wind issues and by then the number was starting to slip away from me a little.

Cleveland's defense is garbage so far. If they don't answer with a touchdown here, this thing is over. The Steelers almost had to go out of their way to dig that kind of hole last week, as it appears the Browns may still have a way to go.

The only way KC is going to be stopped is if they stop themselves through self inflicted mistakes. The Browns DC isn’t very good.

This is embarrassing. They are playing completely reactionary defense right now and getting absolutely picked apart. Feels like Pitt vs Clemson. Frustrating as hell.

The Browns DC said his game plan was to give the Steelers the underneath patterns and make us work our way down the field. LOL

The Browns have the potential to become an even more balanced team in the offseason. Higgins’ emergence makes Beckham Jr expendable and they can also ship one of their TEs (Bryant, Hooper) if they wanted to. Then again, they like to run the multiple tight end sets so they’d likely hold on to both with Njoku’s impending free agency.

That was one of the more stupid things I had ever heard. Literally that’s all the Steelers can do on offense and his game plan was to let them do it.

Welp, victims of the stupidest rule in football. That said, these guys are morons for stretching out for the marker like that, when first and goal at the 2 is the worst that could happen.

Even though it went against Cleveland, I hate that touchback rule. Would prefer the offense to get the ball at the 20-yard line.

That fumble was a game changer. A game of inches. The Browns get the ball in the 2nd half and would have had the momentum.

I was rooting hard for Cleveland in this one. But maybe I should be banking as much Browns misery as I can, since they'll probably be kicking our asses for the next ten years.

Why would helmet to helmet not be reviewable?
I actually like that it’s not reviewable. No other penalty is. More importantly if you have to review it in slow motion then most of the time it’s not obvious and shouldn’t be a penalty

In that case catches along the sideline shouldn’t be reviewable either.

I agree . But when it happened it was totally obvious he lead with his helmet .. No need for replay .. They just plain blew the call and the ref was in perfect position . IMO ..

In fairness to that ref, he has to be watching the ball, to see if it crosses the goal line, as well as the receiver, to make sure he is in bounds. Hard to watch the hit, too.
