I'm really interested to see how PITT lines up on defense. Narduzzi had a great stable in the secondary at MSU for their game against Baylor, who had a QB that could scramble when plays broke down.
Now, he needs to find 5 men who can come up and make plays on the short passes, while also defending the deep shots.
As you said, controlling the LOS on defense and offense will go a long way in keeping PITT in this game.
