I think everyone on the Board will stipulate that Coach Duzz, his staff and the Chancellor have taken great strides to build rising expectations for Pitt football in 2015 and the future. Kickoff of the YSU game can't come soon enough.
I see the Akron game on Sept 12th as an early season indicator of just how strong the new momentum might be. Hopefully after trouncing YSU in week 1 -- the Akron game is a prime opportunity for the Pitt fan base to exhibit their support. The game is an easy day trip at a mere 2 hours away -- and a chance to avenge a humiliating loss from last year! I can't foresee many problems getting tickets (and on the cheap). I know we'll be there -- are many others planning on going?
Not sure about the stadium capacity at Akron -- but any guesses on how many fans Pitt might have present as evidence of the rising Duzz mania?
