One of the first and most important changes I have made is to get all of the political threads out of the football and basketball boards. There is no reason for it.
We created the locker room for all topics that aren't related to Pitt athletics. People come to the football and basketball boards to discuss Pitt sports and don't want to sift through countless threads - or individual posts within a thread - about politics.
However, there is still a place for those of you who want to talk about politics and that is the locker room forum. All political threads have been moved there and will continue to be moved there. And political posts in the football and basketball boards will be deleted. I am working to hire a moderator to help me monitor this because I want the forums to be a good experience for all.
