I don't want to see Mark Cuban at the beginning of a Pitt game again as part of the introduction until he actually does something like this.
If it were me, I would have given $62 million to NIL. $1 million/year for each 5 star recruit. Try to buy a Natty. I wished Elon Musk would do something like this for some crap school like UTEP or something.
Damn, you mean they couldn't have came up with the $50M from their SEC revenues so this entire amount could go toward NIL and it could actually make a difference? Sorry, but that's an incredibly dumb strategy by the school. $12M in NIL in the SEC is draining one's lizard into the ocean.

Haha, but touche - I didn't even catch the Anonymous part in the title. Which officially makes the allocation of the funds, well, stupid. They could have competed for a national championship with that kind of scratch had they used it on only players for like six years. Now, they'll just continue to be Missouri.
Just another example of why Pitt can't compete. Decades of screwups by the administration has fostered apathy and the result is that people give their money elsewhere. NIL has made it even worse.
Bickell made the largest sports donation in Pitt history not all that long ago. The problem is people like you who complain, but then don’t even attend games.
Doesn't matter at the end of the day if there is only one Chris Bickell. Pitt fans need to get past this attendance crap. There aren't casual Pitt fans. And the avid fans are small. I mean the generation that was really engaged when Dorsett, Green and Marino were finishing top 10, are in their 60's, mostly 70's and older. It has been 40 years of really just being Iowa State. And in Ames Iowa, that is okay. In a city with 3 pro teams surrounded by PSU, OSU and WVU fanbases along with ND, it is not going to build a fanbase.
Meh. I attended games for 15 straight years. Even when I lived out of town. If the average Pitt alum were like me the stadium would have been packed and there would have be a waiting list for season tickets. Pitt's constant bs ended up being just too much and it just wasn't worth it anymore. The landscape changing is actually what they want, because then they will eventually be able to eject football and say it's not their fault.
