If Chaney would have went to the Duke sideline and told them he was running that, they would have been less surprised. I think everyone in the stadium knew that play was coming there.
You guys should probably apply for a coaching job next year. It sounds like your teams would be putting up big 12 numbers with our middle of the road talent. Ha.
You'd win quite a few games yourself by bringing such a positive attitude to the locker room. Big 12 numbers and not blowing prime opportunities are completely different.
You guys are expecting touchdowns and positive great play calls on every play. The best coordinators in football don't do that. Rudolph had Conner last year. He changes a lot. That long ollison run was nice but it would have been a td with Conner. A stud running back makes the coordinator look much better. Peterman was 3 for 18 or whatever in the first half last week. That ain't coaching, keeping him in there is coaching and duzz and Cheney make that decision
No, we expect mixing up the playcalling. Running the same exact play every first down and most second downs is just the dumbest thing a coach could ever do. Chaney also is the only one who decides who starts believe it or not, I find that a bit odd myself. Agree Peterman has not been sharp most of today, but Chaney is way too predictable today and has been all season, this is not just one game where he did this.
