Apparently ACC teams get scheduling in non-conference games.

Looking at the ACC schedule just released here's examples of a few teams non-conference slate.
Syracuse - Liberty, Western Michigan, Holy Cross, Maryland
Boston College - Richmond, Kansas, Rutgers, ND
Miami, Florida, Bethune-Cookman, Central Michigan, FIU
NC State-East Carolina, Western Carolina, Ball State and WVU
Duke-ND, Alabama, NC A&T, Middle Tennessee

I hope Pitt schedules accordingly in the future. Most of the teams are similar so maybe Pitt should too.
